WOW...way to go!!!! =) I am with you-I HATE HATE HATE puppy stores...they serve no purpose. We have an amazing little dog and cat supply store in Columbus, OH called PetPeople. They are so great with rescue groups. Anyway...if you want to get started in agility there's TONS of pre-agility work you can do. It's super easy to explain over here. I am also working on little videos to explain it. I'll let you know when I get them up. Also about swimming. I have a little guy, Leland, who is afraid of swimming. We're going back to basics-baby pool with just enough water for him to splash in and play with his tennis balls and frisbees in. Start there with Lily, too. It's oftentimes too stressful to just put them in a pool, even with you holding them. In no time at all she'll love the water-just gotta make sure she feels secure swimming and not scared. Oh, and if you let me know where you're located at (what big city is close to you) I can help you find a good agility club. I train at Wild Weavers in Columbus, Ohio, but know of clubs all over the country that are awesome =) Welcome to WagNBrag and thanks for rescuing =) As always...OPT to ADOPT aJILLity |
